With economic gloominess and feelings of apathy rife in contemporary society, poor widows are unfortunately stuck in a rut and need some inspiration. Stories of depression and unhappiness are rife amongst these groups of vulnerable people. On International Women’s Day, our long time member, the enthusiastic and compassionate Kesiena, decided to spread some love and fresh inspiration to a number of widows in the Bwari area of Abuja. She did not only spend time with them, cheering them up, she brought goodies, too. She gave out Ankara wrappers to each of them; to make dresses from. ‘Imagine what a difference we could make if we all made a conscious effort to be kinder to one another. Caprecon cares ‘
Thank you so much, Kesiena. We are proud of you. Always.
