Victor Okechukwu Chimezie

Victor is a community peacebuilder, social change facilitator and P/CVE expert with a commitment to creating awareness, building resilience and facilitating enabling environments to tackle insecurity in Africa and the world via empowering young minds to be able to contribute to creating a safer and a saner world.

He is also an Afro-Arab Youth Champion 2020, Nigerian SDG Youths Champion 2019, Institute for Economics and Peace Ambassador 2019, Nigerian Prize for Leadership Ambassador 2021 and Founder of Mind Reformers’ Network which focuses on getting hundreds of thousands of young leaders aware of, interested in and committed to Peacebuilding processes to tackle insecurity issue across Africa.

He has through Mind Reformers Network reached out to thousands of young persons in Nigeria across seven Nigerian cities through peace talks with students, peace outreach at Bakassi IDP Camp, Calabar and Peacebuilders training for youths in Nigeria, amongst.

He is currently the Volunteers Country Coordinator for Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network in Nigeria, a commonwealth youth based peacebuilding initiative aimed at galvanizing youths efforts towards a peaceful, tolerant and non-extremist society where he leads about 300 peace ambassadors in achieving this goal in Nigeria. I am devoted to Peacebuilding, Youths and Community Development.
