Lamin Jambang is a dedicated professional, community leader and strong advocate for social justice. Born in the Village of Barajally in the Eastern part of the Gambia, Lamin received his early childhood education from a local Muslim cleric with whom he studied the Quran, social values and societal norms. Lamin developed a passion for learning English as a young man and he attended Sukuta Primary School and Sukuta Junior Secondary respectively where he completed his primary and junior Secondary education. Driven by strong commitment, Lamin completed his high school education at Nusrat Senior Secondary School, before pursuing tertiary education at Stradford College where he studied Accounting and Human Resources Management.Lamin embarked on a career in hotel management in 2014 and works at Holiday Beach Club Hotel as a Reservation Manager, a position he has held up to date. He has been instrumental in managing the hotel's affairs through innovation and excellent managerial skills that earned him recognition from his employers, co-workers, and the wider hotel community in the Gambia.Beyond his profession, Lamin is deeply committed to giving back to the communities in the Gambia. He actively engages in voluntary work, community service, mentoring, and activism, thereby enriching lives and strengthening communities, particularly those of vulnerable people.He is currently the country Representative of the Caprecon International Development and Humanitarian Foundation in the Gambia.
