Beckie Neumann (she/her, they/them) is an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion professional and a passionate advocate for disability and LGBTQIA+ rights. With a solid foundation in the social justice and philanthropic sectors, Beckie specialises in disability justice and accessibility, where they consistently work towards driving impactful change. Their broad expertise also encompasses incorporating transformative, community-led mental health initiatives and holistic wellbeing practices into the workplace.Born and raised in the Middle East, Beckie's experiences witnessing human rights violations and the exploitation of migrant workers shaped their deep commitment to social justice. These early observations fostered their dedication to working alongside marginalised communities in pursuit of social transformation to help build a more inclusive, accessible, and equitable society.Beckie holds and MA in Cultural and Critical Studies, where their academic work focused on decolonising global mental health and examining the connection between capitalism and inaccessibility. Currently, they are committed to advancing accessibility within Higher Education, applying their expertise to create environments that embrace diversity and promote true inclusion for all.
