It was International Volunteer Day yesterday, 05/12/25.
International Volunteer Day is a day set aside to recognise the efforts of Volunteers and the act of volunteering, itself, all over the world.
I have often said that although I founded and have mostly funded Caprecon Foundation projects myself, including payment of officials,
Caprecon Foundation has been sustained and kept alive by VOLUNTEERS.
In other words, there will be no Caprecon Foundation without the efforts of VOLUNTEERS.
And many of them offered, and continue to offer their time and resources, free of charge.
I am enamoured of these individuals, and enormously and endlessly grateful to them.
Most of them have moved on to greater heights and have carried along the brotherhood spirit of Caprecon Foundation with them.
In our self-absorbed culture, it is not easy to be a volunteer, offering oneself to serve.
It is a Noble effort.
Founding and funding a charity foundation by oneself can be exhausting materially and emotionally; to the point of giving it up, but my volunteers keep the spirits up.
Once again, on behalf of myself and Caprecon Foundation officials, I want to say a big THANK YOU to our volunteers.
